Legends of Caspian: An Ancient Warrior

"Who are you?" Caspian said drawing his sword.
"Maximilian I am," the small man said. He crouched on all fours like a spider almost. His head was bald, except for a gray ring of hair surrounding the edges, which stuck in every which way. He didn't wear a tunic, but a strange suit of mail that seemed to cling to his body. It was ragged and looked like it wouldn't offer much protection. On his back were two sheaths strapped in an X shape. In them were two curved blades, such like Caspian had never seen.
"Why are you here?" Luke hissed an arrow on his string.
"Gelon's sword master I was," Maximilian said. "You I recognize." The last to Caspian.
"What do you men you were Gelon's sword master?"
Maximilian closed his eyes as if remembering something from long ago.
"Trained  him I did, for he was young. Lion of heart crusade go on. Him and me follow. Usurper's men corrupted Gelon, returned he did. Usurpers lord he be now. His son you be."
"Yes, but how did you know?" Caspian started.
"No time," Maximilian hissed, "Win your spurs." Maximilian vanished like mist in the morning.
"Wha..." Luke said, suddenly a black cloaked man leaped from the shadows with a cry like death! In his hand was a crooked dagger! Twang! An arrow hissed through the air and planted itself in the man's heart. Luke had another two more arrows on the string. Three more men jumped out followed by a black knight! It was Kyle, in oth hands he clutched a long blade with an emerald on the hilt. His helm, which covered his whole face, shone like silver and his black robe marked him for who he was. Evil. Twang! Two more men fell each with an arrow in their heart. Caspian struck the other with his sword, but the warrior parried with his own blade. Caspian feinted left, and the black fighter bought it. Caspian swung his word around and crashed it into the fighter's middle. He fell dead. Caspian whirled just in time to halt a sweeping stroke from Kyle that would have cleaved his head. Luke was firing arrows like mad into a growing swarm of black fighters. The pile of dead bodies also was growing. Caspian ducked another stroke and tried to bring his blade into play, but Kyle was ready. He pressed forward trapping Caspian against a row of black bars, Kyle laughed and swung his blade at Caspian! Caspian fell to his knees and ducked! Kyles blade crashed through the bars cleaving them in two! Caspian dived into Kyle's legs, but Kyle whipped around. Caspian thrust at him, and Kyle swung his sword attempting to pin Caspian to the wall by stabbing him through the heart, but Caspian again twisted causing the blade to bury itself into the stone wall spraying bits of stone in Caspian's face. Suddenly blackfighters poured into the room separating Luke and Caspian! They were doomed.
